Abstract
With ever increasing generation and consumption of multimedia –e.g., Instagram,YouTube, Facebook media, and many more– a large majority of these data sources areboth multi-model and multi-modal in nature. Modalities in which data needs to becaptured and analyzed could vary from classical relational data, to nested documentmodels, key-value stores, geo-spatial data, astronomical data, spatio-temporal data,biometric, image data and many more. The goal is to build an open-source data virtualization platform that offers a seamless multi-modal indexing to answer queries at scale.
