25th August 2006

This is the result of an early morning class I attended in slot C.
I wanted to sleep through it, but for some reason I just couldn't, and this poem resulted in the end.

The alarm went off at seven
I was still in dreamy heaven
All the wake up calls went amiss
I was still in sleepy bliss
Then it struck seven thirty five
And for no particular reason I opened my eye
In a rush it dawned upon me
I had just twenty minutes to get ready
		Run jump skip and hop
I was out by eight o'clock
Into the car and on with the ignition
I had begun my quotidian mission
		Having arrived seven minutes late
I would enter class by ten past eight
		Thrust into nuclear physics
That sleep now I started to miss
		Fifty minutes of nothing understood
This course was clearly not that good
Now as the class comes to an end
Shockwaves of happiness to me are sent
		Finally attendance also done
Let us now bring on the rest of the day's fun !
