This page describes the basic aspects of our project
Who we are
We are 3rd year students of the Computer Science and
Engineering Department, I.I.T. Delhi and are doing this project as part of
our CSP313 course.
About the project
We intend to create a personnel management system to help manage
gatherings with large groups of people. The system aims to tackle the
biggest and foremost problem faced by the managers, i.e. information input
about the number of people present, where they are present, information
about the environment conditions of the gathering area like temperature
humidity etc., to assist the event manager to handle the event more
efficiently and reduce the need for assisting personnel.
Equipment details
We will be using a number of generic wireless enabled nodes, which will
each have a set of sensors to get information about the temperature,
humidity, light( for tracking people movement ) etc. These nodes will send
this information to a central base station which will be present at the
management end to provide the necessary information to him.
