Class,
A key statement in the assignment is the following:

"Rewrite the grammar into a grammar which is LL(1)... "

I wanted to add another statement that reads "Is the given grammar LL(1)? Prove or disprove it. And if it is not in LL(1) then rewrite it to be LL(1)..."

So now, you have proved that it is not LL(1). Now you need to rewrite it.

Krishna.
: Dear Sir,

: Even I am having the same problems..I think there does not exist an equivalent LL(1) grammar. Please check the grammar and correct me if I am wrong.

: : Dear Sir,

: : There is some ambiguity in the grammmar given for "Parsing" Assignment. Parse table generated contains 2 entries for a single terminal(";"). Can you please confirm it?

: : Thanks & Regards
