About Me

I am an Ph.D. student at AmarNath and Khosla School of Information Technology, IIT Delhi. I have worked as Project Associate at IITD Delhi on project "Partograph" with Prof. Sanjiva Prasad and Dr. Kolin Paul . Apart from that I have worked for two years as a Research & Development Engineer at Samsung Research Institute , Noida, India.

I won IEEE IES-SYPA Competition at ETFA 2019 for paper "PatchRank: Ordering updates for SCADA systems". SYPA@ETFA

  • Worked on project "SmartPatch" with Praveen Gauravaram, Arun Kumar Jindal.

Project- Smart Partograph
  • Worked on project "Smart Partograph" for ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research).
  • An android mobile application that helped reducing maternal mortality rates by plotting a graph automatically between the cervical dilation and time elapsed on a mobile device. Stored the vital parameters of the patient and alerted doctors/nurses in case of any discrepancies.
  • "Smart Partograph" to be rolled out nationally in hospitals in India.

  • Description- Splanner is an android based project which involve management of events,calendar,birthday notification in short equivalent to the combination of calendar and diary.

    • Work on optimization and performance improvement.
    • Development of new designing of application for new UX.
    • Fixing the bug and issue occurred in code.

Paper Titled Detection and Mitigation of LFA Attack in SDN-IoT Network by Alaa Allakany, Geeta Yadav, Kolin Paul, Koji Okamura accepted in the workshops of the IEEE International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications (AINA) 2020 , Caserta, Italy. It is published as a part of the Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing book series.

Paper Titled IoT-PEN: A Penetration Testing Framework for IoT by Geeta Yadav, Kolin Paul, Alaa Allakany, Koji Okamura accepted in the 34th International Conference on Information Networking (ICOIN), 2020 Barcelona, Spain. Extended version of "IoT-PEN: An E2E penetration testing framework for IoT" accepted in Journal of Information Processing.
