IIT Delhi Workshop on
Introduction to Quantum Computing
(18-27 June, 2021)

Welcome to the summer workshop on Quantum Computing!

This workshop is designed to facilitate entry into the fast-growing area of quantum computing, and will introduce the fundamental concepts of quantum computing and convey its power and possibilities. In addition to lectures and hands-on tutorial sessions, we also have invited talks by experts in the domain.

The workshop will focus on the computational aspects of quantum information, and no prior knowledge on quantum computing/physics will be assumed. However, some background in basic probability and an understanding of linear algebra will be useful. Tentative list of topics includes: basic postulates of quantum computing, operations on qubits, the power of entanglement, quantum circuits, basic quantum algorithms (see Schedule for more details).
