From feature models to implementation

Our experience has shown that models driven methods are used seriously 
when they directly lead to implementation. Thus, while feature models 
are accepted to be very valuable, we believe that they would see widespread 
adoption only when they are tightly coupled to system implementations. This 
talk explores the issues involved for a narrow domain of transaction oriented 
business systems. The objective is to increase awareness of what may be required 
to build a family of highly configurable systems.
