Workshop on Approximation Algorithms
Oct 8-11, IIT Delhi, New Delhi
The "Approximation Algorithms" workshop at IIT Delhi
will bring together leading researchers in the
area of approximation algorithms. The talks at the workshop will focus on recent
trends and developments in this burgeoning field of research. Graduate students
in India are specially encouraged to attend the workshop as this will be a
unique opportunity to learn and interact with some renowned researchers in this
area. The format of the workshop will be fairly informal and there will
be ample time for discussion between talks. We hope that the talks and the
discussions will stimulate the interests of students in India and will lead to
fruitful ideas for further research in approximation algorithms.
The workshop was organized with funding from IBM and MPI (Germany). The
talks were held in ground floor seminar hall of the Bharti School
