Biography

Geeta is currently a Ph.D. Research Scholar in the Khosla School of Information Technology at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. She is working under the guidance of Prof. Kolin Paul. Her research interests are vulnerability risk assessment, patch prioritization, IIoT security, Cyber-Physical Systems, Graphical anomaly detection and Micro-architectural attack mitigation.

A part of her research is under JST-DST SICORP Project in collaboration with Prof. Koji Okamura Kyushu University, Japan.

She was awarded first place in the challenges of the 2020 edition of the Indian Dutch Cyber Security School organised by The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS), Netherlands. She did an research internship at TCS Innovation Labs, Gurgaon, India in collaboration with Dr. Praveen Gauravaram (TCS Australia) and Arun Kumar Jindal (TCS Gurgaon). She was granted ACM Mobicom 2020 Student Research Competition grant for poster SmartPatch: A patch prioritization framework for SCADA chain in Smart grid. She was awarded IEEE IES-SYPA for paper "PatchRank: Ordering updates for SCADA systems" at ETFA 2019.

Before joining Ph.D., she worked as a Project Associate with Dr. Kolin Paul and Prof. Sanjiva Prasad at IIT Delhi on a project "PrasavGraph: Android based Labour Monitoring" in colloboration with Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). She worked as a R&D engineer in Samsung India Pvt. Ltd. from June 2013- July 2015 on project SPlanner. She received a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India in 2013.
